The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent.
The seventh series started on ITV on 21 August and ended on 12 December The series saw the creation of boyband One Direction, five boys who entered the competition as soloists. The winner of the series was Matt Cardle.[1] He was mentored throughout the show by Dannii Minogue.
After the victory, he released his debut single "When We Collide".
